Exercises on choosing the correct relative pronoun.

Exercise 1

Write the correct pronoun in the spaces: which, who, where. Do not omit the pronoun.

Example:
The camera             I bought yesterday.

Answer:
which  

Exercise 2

In conversational or more informal written English we prefer that if possible. Repeat the same exercise with the pronouns: that or where, or omit the relative pronoun if possible.

Example:
The camera             I bought yesterday / or you can omit the pronoun.

Possible answer:
that

2) The conference we went to was excellent.

3) I want to watch a film will make me laugh.

4) The woman called yesterday wants to buy our car.
